Below are the instructions for subscribing/unsubscribing to any listserv list for the Department of Psychology.

The following is an example of subscribing/unsubscribing to the "rave" list. For any other listserv just replace "rave" with the listserv name.

To Subscribe: 

• Send e-mail to listproc at ego.psych.mcgill.ca with one line in the body of the message (not on the subject line) saying

subscribe rave Your Name
(subscribe rave Joe Smith)

• Don't include your usual signature file - the message should only contain that one line.
• To post to the list, send your posting to rave at psych.mcgill.ca OR to rave at ego.psych.mcgill.ca - both addresses point to the list so do NOT send your message to both.

To Unsubscribe:

• Send e-mail to listproc at ego.psych.mcgill.ca with one line in the body of the message (not on the subject line) saying

unsubscribe rave

• Don't include your usual signature file - the message should only contain that one line.

Replace at with @ in e-mail addresses.
