Assistant Professor Position in Quantitative Psychology (McGill)

  • The Department of Psychology at McGill University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Quantitative Psychology with an anticipated starting date of September 1, 2016. The position may be in any area of theoretical or applied quantitative psychology. Applicants are expected to have a doctorate in psychology or closely related fields at the time of appointment. Applicants should show evidence of research productivity and the potential to obtain external funding, as well as a strong commitment to and aptitude for high quality teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Review of applications will begin November 1, 2015. Applicants should arrange for the following materials to be sent in electronic format to quant-search@psych.mcgill.ca: 1) curriculum vitae; 2) a statement of research interests; 3) a statement of teaching philosophy and experience, and evidence of teaching excellence (if available); 4) relevant reprints or pre-prints; and 5) three confidential letters of recommendation.
