The Department of Psychology of McGill University invites
applicants for a tenure-track appointment in SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY.
The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, with
an anticipated start date of September. 1, 2015. Applicants must
have a Ph.D. by August 1, 2015. Candidates are expected to
demonstrate the potential to establish a record of significant,
externally-funded research. Candidates are also expected to
demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching and
supervision/mentoring at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
We are particularly interested in applicants who complement our
existing expertise in identity and social relations: We will
place excellence above any specific topic or methodological
approach within social psychology.
The psychology department has excellent facilities for
interdisciplinary research with other McGill departments and
other universities in Montreal. We will begin considering
applications on October 15, 2014 and will continue until the
position is filled. Applicants should arrange for the following
