Thivierge, J.-P., & Shultz, T.R. (2002). Finding relevant knowledge: KBCC applied to splice-junction determination. IEEE International Joint Conference on Neural Networks 2002 (pp. 1401-1405).

Abstract

KBCC was applied to splice-junction determination using biological rules as prior knowledge. Because not all rules were recruited, KBCC was useful in assessing relevant CC sources. Fewer recruits were required than CC. However, KBCC did not outperform CC on learning speed and accuracy, due to limited relevancy of some sources.
