I am currently an undergraduate student in my final year of Honours Psychology with a minor in Linguistics. I am interested in the psychological mechanisms of language, especially language acquisition and speech-language deficits, as well as the cognitive development of children. I am completing a research project with the MIDC exploring the ability to learn general rules or patterns in bilinguals and monolinguals. I hope to go on to work with children with speech-language deficits, and the MIDC grants me the opportunity to have invaluable hands-on experience studying language acquisition in infants.
