Research Summary

My research has focused on human brain functions with respect to a number of cognitive and sensory abilities, with a special concentration on how learning mechanisms differ as a function of differing task requirements and stimulus types such as faces, words, designs or odors.  My study populations are usually patients with temporal lobe epilepsy before and after epilepsy surgery and also healthy volunteers. I have developed several neuropsychological tests, which I have recently had programmed for a computer-assisted battery in English and in French; I am now working on gathering norms for this battery and writing the manual.
