as racial minorities, aboriginal groups and women. The ideological
biases of current theories is first established. This is followed by
a review of current theories and finally current controversies are
explored including new forms of racism and affirmative action

PSYC 215 or permission of the
instructor.
Content: This
course focuses on the social psychology of relations between large
societal groups such as majority groups, racial minorities, aboriginal
groups and women. The ideological biases of current theories is first
established. This is followed by a systematic review of current
theories and finally a number of current controversies are explored
including new forms of racism and affirmative action programs.
